ICAI’s Board of Studies releases Revision Test Papers, or RTPs, before every CA Final attempt to help you revise the full syllabus with fresh, attempt specific questions. Download every English medium RTP below, subject by subject, going back to May 2024.
What Is the CA Final RTP
The RTP is released roughly two months before each exam and covers all six papers of the current syllabus. It includes updated illustrations, amendments applicable for that attempt, and practical questions that reflect the latest exam pattern.
Unlike the MTP, the RTP does not simulate a full mock exam with a marking scheme. It is meant to be used as a structured revision tool alongside your regular study material, subject by subject. Under the new scheme, CA Final now runs only in May and November each attempt year, so unlike CA Foundation and Inter there is no January RTP to look out for.
How to Use RTPs Effectively
Always start with the latest attempt’s RTP since it reflects the most current amendments and exam trends. Solve each question on paper first, then compare your approach with ICAI’s own suggested answer.
Going through two to three previous attempts of RTP for the same subject helps you spot which topics ICAI tests repeatedly, which is especially useful for Direct Tax Laws and International Taxation, and Indirect Tax Laws.
