ICAI has officially confirmed that the CA Final May 2026 results will be declared by the evening of June 18, 2026. The announcement was issued on June 15, 2026 by Anand Kumar Chaturvedi, Joint Secretary (Exams), ICAI — making it one of the fastest result declarations in recent memory.

But what about CA Inter and CA Foundation students?

If you appeared for the May 2026 exams and are anxiously waiting for your results — here is everything you need to know, including the expected dates, historical patterns, and what to do while you wait.

CA Final May 2026 Result — Officially Confirmed

Let us start with what is confirmed:

CA Final May 2026 Result Date: June 18, 2026 (Evening)

This has been officially announced by ICAI. Students can check their results on:

You will need your Registration Number and Roll Number to access your scorecard.

CA Inter May 2026 Result — Expected Date

ICAI has not yet officially announced the CA Inter May 2026 result date. However, based on historical patterns and the CA Final result timeline, here is what we can expect:

Expected Date: First week of July 2026 Expected Time: Around 5:00 PM

Why the first week of July?

Let us look at the pattern from previous sessions:

The pattern is clear — CA Inter results typically follow the CA Final result by approximately 7 to 10 days.

Since CA Final is declared on June 18, 2026 — CA Inter results are most likely to be declared between June 25 and July 5, 2026.

Our best estimate: Around June 25 to July 2, 2026.

CA Foundation May 2026 Result — Expected Date

CA Foundation exams for May 2026 were held from May 14 to May 20, 2026 — finishing later than Inter and Final.

Expected Date: First week of July 2026 Expected Time: Around 5:00 PM

Historically, ICAI declares CA Foundation and CA Inter results on the same day or within a day of each other. Both are typically announced in the first week of July for the May session.

So Foundation students — your wait is not much longer than Inter students. Expect results around the same window: late June to first week of July 2026.

Why Is CA Final Declared Before Inter and Foundation?

This is a question many students ask — and the reason is straightforward.

CA Final has fewer papers and a smaller student base compared to Inter and Foundation. The evaluation and moderation process is completed faster. Additionally, CA Final students are often at the doorstep of qualifying as Chartered Accountants — ICAI prioritises this declaration to help them plan their next steps, including ICAI membership registration and job placements.

CA Inter and Foundation, on the other hand, involve a significantly larger number of students — often over 1 lakh students per session — which means evaluation, moderation, and result processing takes additional time.

How to Check Your Result When It Is Declared

For CA Inter May 2026 Result:

3. Enter your Registration Number and Roll Number
4. Enter the CAPTCHA code
5. Click Submit
6. Download your scorecard and save a copy

For CA Foundation May 2026 Result:
