Do These Before 3 November

A few minutes of checking now saves you from stuck screens later. Do these on the Self Service Portal at eservices.icai.org.

Step What to check
1 Log in with your SRN and password. Reset the password now if you have forgotten it
2 Check your course code. Intermediate should show NEWINT23 or CONINT23, and Foundation NEWFND23 or CONFND23
3 If the code is different, convert the course for free under Course Registration
4 Intermediate: confirm the groups you are registered for
5 Foundation: upload your Class 12 marksheet or admit card
6 Upload a clear photo and signature that match ICAI’s size and format rules

Your First 10 Minutes on 3 November

Once the form opens, you can finish it in one sitting if your documents are ready.

  1. Log in and open the January 2027 exam form from your dashboard
  2. Choose your group (Intermediate) and your exam city and centre
  3. Choose English or Hindi as your medium
  4. Review every field before you pay
  5. Pay the fee online
  6. Download and save the barcoded exam form PDF

Fees to Keep Ready

The fee depends on your course, the number of groups and your centre. These are the rates for centres in India.

Course Fee by 16 November Fee with late fee (17 to 19 November)
Foundation ₹1,500 ₹2,100
Intermediate, one group ₹1,500 ₹2,100
Intermediate, both groups ₹2,700 ₹3,300

Rates for Kathmandu, Bahrain and Dubai are in our full guide. Applying by 16 November saves you ₹600.

Seven Mistakes to Avoid

  • Waiting for the last day. The portal can slow down as the deadline nears, and the late fee starts from 17 November
  • Choosing the wrong centre or medium. You can fix this only in the free correction window from 20 to 22 November
  • Not saving the exam form PDF. Your application counts only when it appears on the portal with the PDF generated
  • Trusting a bank debit alone. Money leaving your account does not mean your application is complete
  • A blurry photo or signature. ICAI prints both on your admit card, so update them before you apply
  • Wrong course code. The form will not show up for you if the code is not right
  • Foundation students forgetting Class 12 proof. If you apply provisionally, upload it by 1 December 2026 or ICAI will not issue your admit card

Use the Gap to Prepare

The exams are only about nine weeks away. ICAI’s mock tests are already out, so use them for practice. See the CA Inter January 2027 mock test schedule and the CA Foundation MTP page.

If you did not clear Inter in September, our comeback plan for the January attempt shows where to start.
