ICAI released the official date sheet for the January 2027 CA Foundation and CA Intermediate examinations on September 23, 2026. Here are the exact dates, papers, and timings for both levels, straight from the Examination Department’s notification.
CA Foundation January 2027 Exam Dates
CA Foundation exams will be held on four days: January 3, 5, 7, and 9, 2027.

CA Intermediate exams are spread across both groups from January 2 to 12, 2027.

Every Intermediate paper carries a three-hour duration with 15 minutes of advance reading time before each session.
What ICAI Confirmed Alongside the Dates
The exam schedule will not change even if any exam day is declared a public holiday. Exams will proceed at a centre only if a sufficient number of candidates have opted for that centre.
ICAI has confirmed the full application window for both courses. All forms must be filled online on the Self Service Portal using your SRN login.

Exam Centres and Medium
The exams will also be held at three overseas centres: Bahrain, Dubai (UAE), and Kathmandu (Nepal). Start times are set to match 2:00 PM IST, which is 12:30 PM in Dubai, 11:30 AM in Bahrain, and 2:15 PM in Kathmandu.
Both Foundation and Intermediate candidates can choose English or Hindi as the medium for answering papers. You select it while filling the form on the portal.
