CA Inter RTP (Revision Test Paper) for 2027 Exams

CA Inter RTP for 2027 Exams

ICAI’s Board of Studies releases Revision Test Papers, or RTPs, before every CA Intermediate attempt to help you revise the full syllabus with fresh, attempt specific questions. Download every English medium RTP for the 2027 exams below, subject by subject.

CA Intermediate January 2027 Exam Dates

ICAI confirmed the January 2027 CA Intermediate date sheet on September 23, 2026. Group I papers fall on January 2, 4, and 6, and Group II papers on January 8, 10, and 12, 2027, with every paper running from 2 PM to 5 PM.

The exam application form is expected to open in the first week of November 2026. See our full January 2027 exam dates and timings breakdown for the complete schedule.

What Is the CA Inter RTP

The RTP is released roughly two months before each exam and covers all six papers of the current syllabus. It includes updated illustrations, amendments applicable for that attempt, and practical questions that reflect the latest exam pattern.

Unlike the MTP, the RTP does not simulate a full mock exam. It is meant to be used as a structured revision tool alongside your regular study material, subject by subject.

How to Use RTPs Effectively

Always start with the latest attempt’s RTP since it reflects the most current amendments and exam trends. Solve each question on paper first, then compare your approach with the solution provided.

Going through two to three previous attempts of RTP for the same subject helps you spot which topics ICAI tests repeatedly, which is especially useful for Corporate and Other Laws and Taxation.

If you are still deciding how to sequence your revision, our Group 1 vs Group 2 strategy guide and our week by week preparation plan can help you fit RTP practice into your existing schedule.

All six attempts published by ICAI under the current syllabus, from September 2024 through September 2026, across all six papers.

Should I solve the RTP before or after finishing the syllabus?

Solve it after completing a topic in your regular study material, since RTP questions assume you already know the underlying concepts and focus on application.

Are these the official ICAI RTPs?

Yes. Every file here is downloaded directly from ICAI’s Board of Studies portal without any modification.
