Why Two Editions Exist and Which One You Need
ICAI revises the Study Material between attempts, so older and newer print runs sit on the portal together. We checked module by module, chapter by chapter, and unit by unit, and the two editions are structurally identical: the same five modules, the same seventeen chapters, and the same units. Only the underlying file references differ. The weightage table at the top of this page applies to both editions without adjustment.
If your book says “Applicable for May 2026 Exam Onwards” on the cover, use Edition 2. If it says “Applicable for May 2025, September 2025 and January 2026 Exam Onwards,” use Edition 1.
Using This Alongside Your Revision
